Prescription Drug Drop-Off and Disposal

Old or unused prescription drugs should never be disposed of in the trash at home. These drugs can leach into the water supply and pollute Missouri's ecosystems. Big River Ambulance District offers a convenient prescription drug drop-off for safe disposal.

Unfortunately, the drop-off does not accept needles (aka 'sharps'), bloody or infectious waste, inhalers, aerosol cans, glass, peroxide, or rubbing alcohol.
